Par value us-made tools i use about 4 or 5 of these in my instrument shop for setting lathe centers, eschar metal work, and general metal forming and pressing. the mallets (and their hammers), traverse perfectly, not marring the metal, and not leaving examination on the work surface. far better advised than the cheapo rubber and urethane knockoffs that are largely imported for a cent a dozen. for the true craftsman/artisan/professional machinist, you clear-cut can't beat these.
