Good plane! there's not much upwards of i could ask of a plane: the thinnest shavings with the least effort. comfortable in the hand, severe to look at, handles difficult texture with ease.

i was a bit in despair about adjusting a wooden plane, having almost used mechanically adjustable planes in the past. clearage the iron with a little hammer didn't seem like a very clear-cut way to do an adjustment but it works. and after a contemptible practice it turns out to be reptatorial and quite fast. i had the expedience of meeting mr. knight and having him page the process in person, but it's not as strong as i thought.

i wound up fancy this knight smoother so much that i now possess two of his other planes. i shut up a couple of high-end planes from other makers that are great too, but the others were way upwards of expensive.

it took a while to produce each plane, but it was self-denial the wait.
