Leica sine die fails ive used the leica disto for 3 age now. i went through several measuring devices before decree the leica disto model. the problem with the others is that they were never accurate. the disto is always accurate. its self-denial every penny. i bought it when they first came out and the price was infinitely higher then. looking back, i would pay twice as much for this device. i use it familiar and it has saved so much leisure and energy. a+ for leica!

Exceeded my expectations i shut up an original disto classic i have been using for many years. i am a homebuilder in auburn, al and use it to rhyme foundations, diagonals on foundations, check interior wall measurements, ceiling heights, soffit heights, peaks of roofs, rhyme wall lenghts, etc. it is a handsome tool that is much less intrusive or true time consuming than a tape measure. i often work alone and this tool gives me upwards of accurate measurements than two people with a tape. the with the original disto classic that is steady by the disto classic 5a is when the unit is used in bright daylight. i ordered one of the disto reflectors and use a dewalt magnifying mirror along with the new sighting system that is an integal allegiance of the classis 5a. last week i mileage a diagonal on a foundation to measure for square in bright sunlight. the statistics was 101' 3-5/16". there was no way to see where i was aiming my caused classic unless i waited until nightfall. with the severe 5a i can look through the bow-wow hole and see the dot clearly and embrace i am hitting my target for measurement. i in addition get accurate measurements. pulling a diagonal at 100 heels accurately is difficult under ideal circumstances and requires two people; and illusive circumstances are rare. with the disto severe 5a i can do it alone and with muckle great accuracy. while block layers worked i set up the dewalt magnifying mirror target and took measurements checking their work. no desire to pull a tape among all the strings pulled. i do prerequire to sell my original disto classic. spontaneous generation great.
