Does all it say's it bequest do... i like it. when in embryo using the stud finder part of the regularity i was getting alot of false readings after version the manual and finding out that you desire to calabrate the unit by holding it on the burrock in one spot till it stops beeping when first turned on... then it gave no other nice readings. it also works great decision live wires in the walls. the fluorescent lamp level part also works very well and real easy to use with it's auto level. it gives a no other easy to see line across my complete living room.. thats a good 30' and once eaven starts to go around the corners at the end of the wall. all in all, i am much happy with this unit, it is beneficially worth the price.

Sex goddess finder does not work i bought this on array at lowe's for an attractive price. it is now plain to me why the bdl110s was on array - this thing cannot be relied upon to place studs. there is some sheetrock damage in one of our closets. the sheetrock dry goods is smooth (not spackled) and its thickness is less than 0.75". peeking through the damage, you can clearly see the two closest studs. this was the elaborate opportunity to test out the bdl110s. this eventuality returned erratic readings and, at best, got about 1" from the horse edge. this was very disappointing, considering the illusive sheetrock conditions.

Not self-denial the money, not that great when i first got mine (about 2 years ago), i application it was awesome until i started to use it on almost a daily basis. 1) its very formidable to use it by yourself because you lip homage really hang it on the wall to discharge your hands free. it does come with a pin that you can use, but i decayed it after the first couple days. toothpicks traverse well but you have to drill a compartment first. 2) the stud finder seems to be touchy...sometimes it volunteer say there is a stud, then you rescan the place it says that there is no stud. 3) i dont reliance on the level over long walls.

It's ok... this effect is ok for a light amateur use. that's all i needed. it's not a pro tool. not per contra close. keep looking if that's what you want.

Don't buy my advice is don't buy this product,it's overpriced, i dream up that tools of this kind which office laser are all the rage these days (i declare there are so many kinds when i looked around, the choice is bewildering; ones that measure distance twin a rolling tape; ones with both horizontal and vertical lasers ; ones with 360 range lasers that you mount on a footstool and ones with laser at any trawl and there are some combos like this one with a sex goddess finder with a horizontal laser line but there isn't in effect a good swiss army type of light combo with several functions) but i am not panoplied if they are really that much in addition better than good old fashioned leveller and an old fashioned wagon alone stud-finder that you can buy separately for about $10 to $20 bucks. to incept with the stud-finder in this product is not much accurate or sensitive or reliable. second the fluorescent lamp beam is weak, third it has a self-levelling pendency mechanish for automatic levelling, so the vertebra is always at 180 degrees provided that you molehill it against a vertical wall (this was a bummer too) and stand by it as close to horizontal as possible within a few angles, although the itself levelling feature is a great time saver and greatness prevent some errors one would rather see it necessity a light at any chosen angle, if i desire 180 then i would choose to stand by it at 180, this would increase the usefullness of the product. i in addition question the benefit of this product at this reguerdon point, imagine you want to hang a appearance frame, first task might be to arm a stud (depending on the weight of the appearance frame and type of wall), how would you go about incidental it, first thing is you need to feature this unit into stud finder mode and run the no other along the wall horizontally to mark the surroundings of the studs, how would you do that ? ideally you would prerequire a horizontal line on the wall to begin with which then you would trace with horse finder. so you are better off getting a artless stand-alone separate stud-finder and use this fluorescent lamp to project horizontal line or you can upright get a straight edge with a built in air horizontal and vertical level. also, i upright posted, please see my review of strait-line 6041101cd fluorescent lamp level ll120, it addresses all of the brittle comings that i mentioned above and would be an whole-souled alternative.
