Good if you can afford it once it is clearly worth it. i decision i bought it 2 years ago. i sinuosity it without the remote but purchased distant separately from woodcraft.

Rewire to 230v i recently the dc-1100c canister unit (without remote)and usher in the assembly very easy and was stark pleased with the quality of the product. however, i went to the supplied guide to make the necessary changes to accomplish the unit at 230v and upon removing the strike mechanism faceplate i did not see the wiring hook-up illustrated in the manual. at this pungency i assume that i must go one in addition step and go directly to the locomotive wiring to make the change (behind the strike mechanism). this would require cutting the nylon rope's end to gain access. i also assume that i should not make any changes to the on/off truncheon wiring. need help/clarification. thanks

Discriminating machine i bought this dust collector stamp fall and have been very pleased with it. i possess a small custom furniture business building surrogacy furniture in white oak and also use multitude of hard maple and cherry. i currently shut up one 4" flex 10' long hose on this dc related to my cabinet saw and the unequal alternates between a 12 1/2 dewalt planer and my jointer. this dc keeps up with the planer surfacing 10-12 broad white oak without blinking. i shut up successfully used the dc on two machines at the facsimile time and had plenty of suction. i moreover use blast gates when only using one instrument or switching connections with the dc running. some day i would like to hook up a brittle system with metal duct and have no depend with blast gates this will do well. this went together easily and quickly. the remote lives in my atelier apron and the timer is nice to put the dc on for a set degree of time. it is not terribily uproarious either. the canister cleans easily with the suggestion and the bag holds a lot of sawdust. the spittoon is a vast improvement over filter bags in content of use and filer efficency. i shut up been dumping the bag out into a large trash can and i am still on the unconstrained bag after about 25 cycles of unloading saw dust. it came with 5 plain bags. i run the dc at 115v on a dedicated 20 amp zigzag without any problems. i would buy this dc secondly without hesitation. i am a jet fan and shut up a 14" bandsaw, small mini-lathe and a dedicated mortiser as well and i am happy with each for it's durablity in my workshop.

How to rewire for 230v i shut up not yet been able to use this product, since i can't price out how to rewire it for 230v. on 115v it pops the 15 amp breaker. the no other was super easy to assemble, but there are no despatch in the owner's manual for rewiring, and the monogram on the back of the manual is of no real help to me. i have a 30 amp 230v zigzag in my garage and over the age i have rewired my table saw, jointer and a introductory dust collector for 230v, but in all those instances there was a action laid out in the manual. help!!
