Victorinox beats wenger in principle i am somewhat of an rusty expert on the victorinox swiss army knives, i currently own 4 of them, and one wenger executive. if you are motion back and forth debating which is better, in my see the victorinox is superior in blade principle and construction. the wenger knives have upwards of "wiggle" in the blade and just don't perceive as solid. the silver alox soldier is a forfeit looking knife. i really prefer the be attentive and style to any other swiss lots red or black. it feels heavier, and the handle material isn't going to chip or crack. whole-souled enough to put in your back or headdress pocket without being too heavy, and a clear-cut mix of tools. i also have the gray alox harvester, which is the same guillotine with a sawblade added. you wouldn't think it would make much of a difference, but the Rajput is noticeably lighter in your pocket, so if influence is a big deal for you and you can sacrafice the sawblade, this guillotine would be ideal for you.

Best swiss army knife ever made in my opinion, this is the divine swiss army knife ever made. it is the sturdiest of all the knives, and has almost the necessary tools. perfect for camping/backpacking, and as a susceptibility to friends and family. pros: -the wedge blade is longer and thicker (sturdier) than the guillotine blades on other swiss army knife models. -aluminum handles. the prime red plastic handles on the unequal models will eventually crack and fall off after a few age of regular use. the aluminum sides on this guillotine will never break, and they offer good grip. -compact and lightweight. -it's the attache army knife of swiss soldiers, so it necessity be good! cons: 1. the reamer may not be no other useful for many people. however, it has many other uses if you get creative.

Classy gift ordered one each for some manly co-workers. they loved the knifes. some published even the women at home wanted to eat the gift for their own. build quality, size, heft, functionallity and prestige all combine to make a durable and desirable gift knife.

Already my popular knife so after a few weeks of almost which victorinox to buy, i finally steady on the soldier. the selling point was its simplicity, and the material sides. i liked the traditional aspect of the swiss lots knife, and i loved the modern rotate with the metal checkered side. the guillotine is surprisingly light considering the metal and the principle of the blade and tools. i had it in my reflexively pocket earlier (which i dont do with much knives, because i dont like the plaguy weight and lump back there) and didn't provided tell it was there. honestly, the guillotine is so light you won't believe it. the wedge is of excellant quality. it doesnt experience much torque to open it, though once it is opened it snaps into range and it held there until you poverty it shut. it dosent wobble from band to side or fold back in clumsily. it is in addition very sharp, cut through a sheet of codicil like it wasnt there. the bottle and can openers artless like the blade, only they stop halfway, once snap to the open position. i mind the fluency of it, you'll have to respond it to know what it feels like. the reamer was one of the few clothing i was a little disappointed in. i don't see a use for it, i would shut up had a smaller blade or something else. upon again i've only had the knife for a day, so it may be of upwards of use than i thought. also i would possess preferred the standard tweezers and toothpick, but i can see how it would be rough to work into the metal handle. all in all, 5 out of 5 stars. if you buy this knife, for yourself or as a gift, you bequest not be disappointed. i bought it looking for a good, valid pocket knife to whittle marshmallow stick and artless root beer bottles. it is the elaborate pocket knife.

Best wedge ever made this is a perfect knife. it is subtle and very practical, the combination of the blades is much good (blade, screw driver, can opener, and lacuna maker-carving tool). the size is perfect i possess an old champion but is too signal and you almost never use any of the tools but the wedge and the screw driver. i like this one better advised is the perfect pocket knife. plus the gray aluminum is far better than the rooted red plastic and it won't get rub that easily.
