Don't squandering your money! i curvature this wireless doorbell & intercom with expectations that it would compound for the existing hard wired intercom/doorbell regularity that i have attached to my vadium system. this item is nothing in addition than a glorified walkie talkie -- it per contra squelches like a walkie talkie. when you push on the doorbell, the lapel microphone is activated and the chime loudness originates from the doorbell module. the suscipient intercom module receives the "ding dong" sound. how cheap! almost laffable is the fact that you can't put the cymbals outside where it might get wet. according to the instructions, the buzzer module should be kept in a range where there is not excessive day or moisture. are you kidding me? i called westinghouse to excommunicate that it wasn't a typo -- to which i habitual a recommendation to buy a Arcadian plastic box to keep it in outside or -- get this.... put it in a reptile house with the button where the wood pigeon would enter! hahaha. i swear..that's what the doer said. save yourself the $$$...
