Makita upright keeps creaming the competition! this is my 3rd makita drill/driver, my 1st i discharge as a spare and my 2nd one was stolen out of my garage (grrrr!). what floors me is not clear-cut the brilliant design, build quality and certainty which i now expect from makita as infinitely i expect it from most other japanese-designed products---it's the astounding rap for the buck which this ocean greyhound offers. you get an excellent quality percussion driver that puts screws through wood or timber like bullets through butter, plus an good general-purpose drill, and last but not lowest a fluorescent work light that is actually very practical and useful rather than vital part just some worthless freebie...for about the facsimile price that i originally paid for clear-cut the impact driver (the one that was stolen) by itself! i in addition appreciated that the carrying case now has timber fasteners instead of the plastic ones all my prior makita carrying cases had...nice improvement. my advisement is, snap this kit up before makita comes to its intellect and stops offering it!

Intimately & powerful! got this impact driver two weeks ago after specialite a whole bunch of reviews and heretofore it takes a little getting used to, once you've mastered it things go really fast. in embryo off, it's small, smaller than a comparible drill. that makes it handsome fitting into tight spots. it's also lighter, which is a realistic blessing on the arms and hands. but much of all, it's fast -- considerably faster than using a understood drill. it goes so fast and is so loud that i was leery at first, so i started by using it to detract hundreds of screws (i'm a hobbiest and i'm making a field marshal change in one of my projects). once once i got the hang of how to render accordant speed with the trigger, i started using it to vaporize the new screws. bam, wham and it's done! highly recommended!

Amazing bargain !! this set is truly an amazing deal. the percussion driver alone is worth the money. i shut up used the impact driver for several inferior projects and love it, because it is so portable weight (compared to my dewalt cordless) and has amazing driving power.
