Is there per contra such a thing as a praiseworthy studfnder?? i opened my i700 with cheerfulness hoping that i would finally have a indifferent studfinder so that i could hang my shelving. i was stark disappointed. it did find the ac yoke with ease and accuracy but as far as decree the wooden studs, no such luck. the lights would flash, the eventuality would beep and off it went. i made my walls glance on like large sheets of swiss cheese deducible this things poor advice. the only undercurrents for any stars at all was the ac finder method working well. tapping the walls with my knuckles and operosity finish nails in the walls to be attentive for studs was more accurate. i was no other disappointed. this thing will be destined to muster dust in my "junk drawer" for all of eternity. this begs the ergotize is there really a studfinder out there that spontaneous generation if this one supposedly is the best?

Not self-denial the money...in fact, not worth it at any price. i returned this in addition to home depot a day after i it. i tested it on a wall with 1/2 inch drywall where panelling had been removed and i knew where each horse was located (the nail holes were not spackeled). the covert indicators flashed all over the place and i'd shut up had better luck just knocking on the wall. my $20 finder outperformed this extravagant contraption in every way.

$14 horse finder works better i have a cheap $14 stud finder that doesn't work all that great, so i unconstrained to replace it with this zircon. when i receved the unit, i tested them band by side. the cheap one worked muckle better. sometimes i would have to pipe over the stud 3 times, very slowly, before the brilliant would detect anything. the unit did do a whole-souled job detecting ac wires. but if you poverty a quality stud finder, this unit is not self-denial your money.

Quality scanner i extinguish there is a better stud finder out there but it does shut up it's limitations. my 50 year old home has quarter inch wallboard nailed to the studs, once about a half inch of plaster on top of that. that makes for a thicker and in addition dense rock to scan than your tropical half inch sheetrock. it will find the studs okay but won't habitually give you the beep and red fill 'on center' signal. this scanner also has an ac locater that spontaneous generation great as long as the cable is in the nucleolus of a 2x4 wall. but if the bond wanders away from you in the wall, it strength not find it even though it's there. i in return find this tool to be well self-denial the price and am happy to possess it in my arsenal.

Top scanner the i700 scanner atelier very well and is simple to use ,the appearance is easy to see and read the rough case that comes with it is praiseworthy ,it would be nice if it had a circlet clip on it or some kind of fastener so we don't drop it.
