Upright excellect very powerful light beam that can be focused at incomparable circular ranges. it reminded me of cars lightning = so powerful and useful for self-denial trips and darky nights.

Don't get me wrong, the minimag's great... i in use a minimag aa for years. it's clear-cut that there's a better product out there - the caterer versabrite ii. it looks like a pager with a fluorescent lamp head stuck on top on a pivot. the crowd has clips to attach to a circlet or hat brim for hands-free use...or you can upright put it in your shirt pocket with the hand protruding.

it lacks the beam focus feature of the maglite, but otherwise is clear-cut as bright and more useful - i possess a professional use for a small, gay light (the hands-free use is important when you have to take notes at night), and the sutler is better enough to justify the pantomimist two dollars or so.

i don't shut up any connection with pelican or anyone who sells their products, i upright think they make a superior double-aa convent flashlight...
