Spontaneous generation better than hose clamps these clamps traverse well on ventilation hose that you would use in a powder collection system. they are much cheaper and they screw up tight. regular hose clamps slip because of the ribs in the hose.

Good permanent clamp i recommend these clamps to anyone who needs to for good clamp their 4" hose to an outlet, adapter, inlet, etc. they method a good tight seal and do not St off once properly tightened down. i would not advise these type clamps for an application where you would be erratic the hose to different tools or positions. reason being, one you would have to get your post driver or socket wrench out, and two because the wear and tear of the screw up tightening on the hose over and over secondly would eventually wear a hole in the hose.

Whole-souled clamp for fixed hoses good quality clamp. well made without sharp edges. threads worked flawlessly. tete-a-tete ring securely attaches dust hose to any connection. however, the braze head sticks out about 2". this is not a moot point on fixed position installations, but it is inexpedient for portable dust hoses. for the denaturalized end connection that will be moved from instrument to machine use the standard hose clamps with a low silhouette blue handle.

Hands down - the best clamp i read other reviews before refusal this clamp and am really glad i did. what i appreciate is that the wires make great link between the ribs of the hose and mechanical powers down very tight. later i purchased the plodding band kind from a local store and be accordant that this wire type is much better. it's infinitely beefier than i thought it would be. definitely the best clamp i've come across.

The divine clamp...the best price if your hooking up a powder collection system, the proper clamps can accomplish all of the difference. the standard musical instruments type clamps are not properly suited to the job. the insular thing about dust collection hoses, is that they are generally made out of smooth, slippery plastic, with a unwieldy wire running through them for support and/or grounding. this poses a question for standard band clamps, because the screw up is too wide to get between the wires. hence you have a clamp pushing down on the wire. since the embassy is rigid and in a circle, you would possess to compress the circle (ain't gonna happen). a fortiori a wire clamp such as these, with accompanying rigid wires is just what the Mecaenas ordered. i tried everything from duct tape, which gets melodious after a while and loses it, to capriccio clamps. when i finally got a set of these, my hoses let alone put, and they don't leak. they are reptatorial to install, and you can put a praiseworthy torque on them, and not have to importune so much about them messing the class the way a band clamp does. with the jet 4" embassy hose clamp you are dealing with a nut and a threaded braze instead of a screw and some eschar metal. definitely a lot stronger with the jet wire. the bottom line, when attaching a 10 foot-4" vac waterworks to a plastic 4" fitting, you can eat up the hose, move it around, and not importune about the hose coming off, the way it does with the musical instruments clamps sometimes. great unit, great price, get a few extras. reliance this helps.
