Not just for emergencies! i secondhand this radio as a gift four age ago and it still works beautifully! it in effect sits on my window sill in the hive and plays the news when i'm making breakfast. i moreover take it outside to work on my car or garden. i provided took it in my old car that didn't shut up a radio. unlike some other reviewers, i haven't noticed any diminished charge or power. i've heard the "drifting" simple when the radio has gone into the color and isn't gaining solar power. if i quodlibet it up, it tunes clearly. usually i upright move it into the sun again and it perks square up. overall, its a fabulous sleek contrivance that saves a ton of hassle.

Vaulting little radio, but... the freeplay s360 was at first a wonderful gift. it worked great and sounded in effect good for such a small speaker. but- when i crank it up now i get no sublimity whatsoever- a little static and then nothing. possibly the battery does wear out after all?

Curvature this radio, can't get it any thresh out from sp or headph. i bought this news media and it seems to not work. the one cynical point is that the instructions are unassembled and don't help you troubleshoot when something seems to be wrong. i shut up tried winding it 60 cranks with and without the news media turned on after that was comleted in reassurance that it would play, and i tried the "successive" charges that the despatch vaguely specifies, in hope that the in embryo time the battery is charged might extort multipe or "successive" sets of cranks, but no luck. i imagine i have no choice but to record for an rma #. you see, they show to have no web support so i could conversation to someone prior to giving up. it appears that you are to enface right away for an rma. i conjecture they could write back with suggestions, but it doesn't lket me expatiate with someone. truthfully, i believe this is a handsome radio, but in all fairness i trow that my experience does point out many shortcomings that most would not experience until in my shoes... the fixture are sparse and don't help when something is motion wrong, the web support dumps you inflexible to requesting an rma # (i think they should offer some help somewhere in perspective the way in case the problem could be overcome). additionally, when you return your radio through no seamy side of your own, yet you loose your aspect selection. seems they should be able to discharge a selection of new replacements on hand, afterall, we aren't getting a discount for our trouble and we have no unquestionableness that the replacement radios won't be someone else's in addition which was refurbrished , in which problem we don't know what they did to it once they realised theirs didn't work, and who knows what they strength have done to cause it not to work. ( note point there). afterall, (...) for a subtle portable am/fm radio whose reception appears to be nothing above habitual is a fairly high end purchase and whole-souled of some some consideration of the buyer beyond what has been shown in my experience, so far.

One cool-blue toy no batteries, no worries. atelier by solar or crank. sure it's horse soldier for the size, but no batteries. i'll use it on camping trips and during the too-frequent blackouts we have. a must-have item!
