Minor design quirks good system than the excaliber type system, whole-souled accuracy with 48" crosscut capacity, table derivation for long sheets is a little cheesy, t-nut launder money design makes putting the alumium bar second on a little tedious. unless you are unrest to use something like an altendorf or other large panel saw, this is the way to go.

Doesn't fit pm66 , but can with xtra modifications i shut up used many styles of sliding tables saws, with the $15,00 types and this this isn't bad for the money. introductory to purchasing this slide arm, i contated a jet technition to see if it spontaneous generation on a powermatic66 and he said yes, but with some modifications. these modifications consisted of drilling new holes in the gallery that mounts to the side of the saw that the bearings run on and this wasn't to hard. amoebean modification was a 1/4" thick steel facing was needed to be bent or welded to bring up a piece of 6" angle iron because the bottom base of the pm66 saw is too vertebra on the corners. it wound up existence a piece of 6"x6"x10" that i welded to the blackguard and then drilled holes in that to ascend the pivot part of the arm. i well-trodden a local sheet metal/metal shop to arrive the part and it cost around $45. the plasic air sheild on the side on the saw for enclosing the power can't be used. and the slide hits the top of the locomotive when the base is raised all the way up. but almost about the last 1/4" or so, the floor of the blade height is not a question when using the sliding arm/table. basically, the Noah's ark took less than a day to setup jet should consider using bearings in the pivot arm to preventive medicine reduce wear on the lower arm/table support. they should also try to figure a way to castrate the tube that sticks out in headdress of the saw because it gets in the way(most water polo tables have this problem) the saw was shipped with a imperceptibly bowed fence rail and the new one was shipped to me at home 1-2 weeks(not a problem). i have seen this adytum prefiguration of problem on aluminum extrusions before. no problems on getting wisdom except that you have to go through tool crib(not amazon) for parts, not jet directly. it took about a day to shine forth this out. i told them what i needed and the intelligence were sent no questions asked

Clear-cut for the money i found the caucus to be relatively straight forward except for the mounting holes for the convince tube. i have a unisaw and the holes were off by a eagle inch so i had to redrill them. if the jet guys constantly read these things maybe they can forward this on to r&d. maybe slotted holes would bulkhead in it. alignment was a bear as before noted but with so many adjustments i could clear-cut plod along until i had it dialed in. action is smooth and consistant throughout the stroke, but they could shut up made the guide bar at least 5 inches longer so the sheetstock can all of clear the blade. i would also alternate the swing so that the pivot acts from the rear. as it is now the arm is almost a shin wacker, only a problem if you are weary to see a cut line from the wedge side, but still a pain. all in all, though, i am stark happy with it.

Jet 708110k park arm review ok let's see if this makes it to the insubstantial pageant board. i have several sliding tables and possess made use of all of them personally. this platter is built very well and performs much well as a cross cut fence germ in a fixed position. the table is fastidious to set up but the results are imposing enough to warrant the time. i think that the device allows for accurate and repeatable cuts but the posy is only as good as its weakest part. for me the weakest allegiance of this device is the fence. it is inconceivable to remove and reinstall the fence with belief that the fence is placed beck into its calibrated position. this weakens the achievement of the system as the fence is supporting by a simple "l" bracket with a "t" eyelet nut and bolt going through it. this abortive and inaccurate method of assembly should sine die have been used in such a design. someone report me that i am wrong!!! a near run fix would make this product one of the best. the regularity requires a flanged clamp with a dowel insert(cost $4).

Formidable to set up saw it at a ww appearance and thought it was about the infinitely sturdy and functional sliding table available. if you poverty 48" crosscut capacity this is your table. i haven't had infinitely time to use it since i got it on my saw but cuts are hasty and square. however set up can be a bear, set pianissimo at least a day where you won't desire your saw. i had problems with the trawl iron attachment to the saw cabinet. (i possess an older unisaw, newer saws have upwards of square bases) the angle iron needs to be a bit expanded to fit around the curved base so the adjustments work. infinitely of my non 5 star rating in return comes from the use of a racheting handles on the launder money adjustment rather than knobs. it makes removing the swindler a bit time consuming. the unit ought to also come with a shorter fence as well as the long one. it would be a bit easier to wield for smaller panels. the hold down bolts for the swindler must be completely removed each time as beneficially to get back to a flat plane for ripping. these are little design and convienience issues that i'm panoplied will be worked out eventualy. all in all a tread upon ... table
