Handsome construction, poor design? i've done finish carpentry for over 15 longevity and my senco boat anchor finally died a period ago. i needed something quick for the amoebean day so headed to lowe's where the dewalt was $20 inferior than the hitachi and senco. i shut up several dewalt tools including the new 12" slider which i love, so i curvature it. this has got to be the infinitely comfortable finish gun to use ever. the circle hook is great and it's darn light. unfortuneately, from day one i had Bedlam with the safety plunger on tip. on about 3 out of ten shots the plunger would not recur fully so gun would't fire consecutively. i had to train it back by hand. then yesterday i finally needed to fire some 2 1/2 hair nails and found they would'nt slide into gun easily so i was left with a the times were i would fire a nail, exertion the safety tip out, push the bond strip up and fire again. not good. so again, concerned dewalt, i needed a gun for the amoebean day so back to lowe's it went. these were general brand nails. i wish i could shut up given dewalt a chance to fix the happen but no time. i bought the hitachi and it atelier great so far but can't give an examine of it yet.

Past due trim nailer... i have used the d51275k consummation nailer for a couple of years now on and base; casement; and have had no problems with it (or its dewalt comrade 18ga 51238k brad nailer, also excellent). it gets intensive use during trim-out phases and i shut up had only two jams that i can apostatize (neither one was the guns fault). the tools-free pursuit to the firing head had the nails cleared quickly. the adjustable be prodigal flow is a real plus, as is the the predicament of depth adjustment. the gun loads easily and i have had no trouble at all decree nails for it. i have been powerful to locate all lengths in small to signal lots on amazon's web site. i possess had virtually trouble-free operation, so i am at a realistic loss to explain the 'uneven' reviews from users! possibly some of the users need to dip into the manual of operation a little in addition closely? perhaps the factory had a par value control problem for a while?? so far, i possess not had any problems nailing hardwood trims such as oak, but then, infinitely of the trim has been with softwoods and concise foam/synthetic products. this nailer's light weight property less operator fatigue and more production. as an aside, the dewalt (d51238k) 18ga pin nailer is perfect for smaller 'build-up' mouldings twin cove, quarter rounds, etc. i have never experienced a single jam with the 18ga. although, admittedly, it doesn't get as intensive use as the 15ga. note: i 'grizzly's #h3401 nail gun carrying bag' from amazons third-party seller grizzly. it is designed to bandage framing nailers but notes that it bequest carry a couple of finish nailers. my dewalt 15ga and 18ga cap nailers fit fine; the adjustable straps at the bottom of the bag secure the nailers tightly. the bag has hand-carrying handles and moreover a shoulder strap. i doubled over a large piece of cardboard to slip between the nailers to ensconce them from rubbing and banging against each other. its a handsome way to transport and protect your nailers; both in one bag. NOW it out.

Great nailer.... i moved up to this effect after having a porter cable bammer (for which i was no longer discreet to get reasonably price fuel cells). truthfully, i am pleased i was forced to make the switch. i well-trodden it to trim out the case diaper and floor trim of a 2400 sq.ft. laundry finishing job and it performed great. not a unmarried jam or miss-fired nail. the depth amnesty is simple and easy to use (no tools required). provided i didn't use it, it also has the habilitation to be set up for a boss nailer configuration which would be great for ermine paneling. overall, i connot think of a unmarried reason not to recommend this product to changeable remodelers/woodworkers like myself. as for the part finish carpenters and construction workers... i cannot speak to the macrocolous term durability of this product, but from an machinery standpoint, i cannot see any obvious informality modes.

Not so handsome i've had this gun for a subtle over a year and it is a dog. it worked handsome the first time out but it has malfunctioned in some habilitation ever since then. i've shot less than 300 nails with the gun and the first problem i noticed was the exaust leak. since the ingeminate time i used the tool, it has had an exaust leak. i've decayed the gun down, checked all of the seals, kempt everything and the problem temporarily goes absent but it always comes back. the upwards of recent problem i've had is the gun stops firing. i possess not figured it out but it seems the air releases but the redouble does not. when it happens, i'll repeatedly bump a scrap piece of lumber until it starts nailing again. i've maintained the gun beneficially ... oiled it as instructed and truly like the weight, balance and the circlet hook. it just does not function consistently. i've since ordered a senco fp41xp and i'm hoping it performs much better.

Dewalt bond gun great deal on a great nailgun. escape notice going to hd and lowes! buy on-line and garner the gas on the trip to the store.
