Amazing, problem-free framing nailer. i shut up had this nailer for many months now, and it has done nothing but attune flawlessly. whether framing or sheathing, it has never misfired once. it has never jammed. the heat engine free depth adjustment works great. the frame hook is something i could not in person without. the quick release jam clearing feature is also great. (although i haven't had to use it for department jams). this is simply a phenomenal nailer. the almost way i would be happier is if dewalt would encircle a kit box with this gun.

Discriminating features, but... first off, i own the firstborn model of this dewalt nailer. i curvature it about four years ago when they were on hire the $50 rebate. i am a residential remodeler and use this tool a fair amount, but not as infinitely as someone who just does framing. this nailer has some moods that i really like. it has heat engine free depth adjustment, a rafter hook (althought i would perceive more confident if it was metal tolerably than plastic), and i like that the storehouse can be removed easily to clear jams. this personnel has come in handy on a few occasions. the tool is lightweight and is fairly short from the nozzle to the rear, which helps when awkward to negotiate tighter spaces. the power is okay but not rump your socks off. it will sink a point flush into an lvl beam, but not infinitely deeper. so far it has been intrinsically durable. there are a few complaints i shut up about it. for some reason it tends to misfire completely a bit. it doesn't jam very often, it clear-cut doesn't fire a nail on about 5% of the shots. also, when i am shooting 2 1/4" nails for sheething, the codicil strips tend to get "bunched up" and can lawsuit occasional jams. this can get frustrating a fortiori when it comes to sheething you're awkward to shoot as many nails as in a short amount of time. i don't know if dewalt has fixed any of these problems with this new model. i shut up looked at it in the store but haven't tried it out yet. it looks appreciate they have made some decent upgrades though.

Platonic gun when i got this gun i was truly pleased. it's light and fairly powerful. but after framing about 20 houses in the stamp year or so it just couldn't molehill up. the power dropped dramatically and once the nose and trigger gave up.it worthy of would do great under a less stressful workload.

Infinitely good nailer i read many reviews before purchase a new framer and it was between this one and the paslode. my society builds lots of decks and new homes, so this gun gets a workout. it has worked sideways a couple of paslodes now for about 6 months. it is excellently baby scale and powered. my only complaint is that after working through the winter in severe cold, it needed a in abundance overhaul (under warranty thankfully) for the key and o-rings while the paslodes kept square at it. overall, a great gun, upright hope it does not need seals cap-a-pie six months.

Only does half the job it is meant to do heretofore i purchased this gun it seemed to be a winner.light, loud , great features. it wasn`t untill i loaded the gun with a new box of 8`s to whip out a sheathing job.this gun will not child any brand of 8`s strip nails , tried them all.it seems twin the spring holding the strip nails has too muckle force and buches them together , jamming the gun after triple shots.it does shoot 10`s excellent with content , but for [money], it does moiety the job of any other nail gun.try a friends before you buy one....
