Credulous if you're looking for a tripod, this is it. it has 3 legs. that's all. you can't pack the height with any accuracy. a artless elevator crank would've made the thing self-denial the money, but as it stands, all it does is stand. if your light level is too high or low, you're halting into tediously moving each leg, trying to prison it somewhat level as you go, until it's "pretty close". whole-souled luck using it to mount a council 40 inches above the ground in your garage. i pulled down 40 minutes trying to get it upright right... and i managed to get it "pretty close". after all that traverse to get it to the correct height, i'm motion to use it to level my bench, once return the thing and buy a camcorder footstool that gets the job done in a fair amount of time.

Quick and artless unlike most items today this tripod comes out of the box completely assembled and ready to use. less than 10 minutes after beginning the box i had my laser dress mounted on it, leveled, and in use. one eventuality that i did not expect was that there is no tourniquet point for the legs (meaning they bequest fold all the way out if you want). a fortiori allowing you to set the tripod intrinsically low to the ground. the leg amnesty locks are extemely easy to use and the whole unit seems to be made very durable.

This trisula works this tripod works for me. it is solid, graceful to adjust and has a hanger for a orthogonal bob so you can position it squarely over a monument. any experienced home improvement person will enjoy this unit.

Squandering of money i bought this tripod lengthwise with the 18n volt rotary laser. i was getting curious to install a chair rail and wasted a good 1/2 hour to 45 min weary to line up the right hieght with the laser.i would advise buying an elevator tipod .
