Whole-souled execution, mediocre design the unit is a discriminating addition. for some reason, while the ra 1161 blackguard that come with the router comes with a hex key to contribute depth adjustment from the top if the router is installed in a table, the ra 1164 which is dedicated to a router platter has no provision for depth adjustment from the top of the table. it looks appreciate the new base design does accomodate this feature.

Clear-cut item it's great to not have to annihilate the baseplate from the router to invest in it on the table, just flip the pin and slide out the router motor head!

Elaborate solution for undertable router` recently purchased the bosch ra1164 router power for permanent mounting under my router table. atelier great! unlike previous reviewers i didn't possess any problem with the missing fine amnesty knob. this is the same base that comes with the bosch 1617 evs shorn of wood knobs, etc. now i can go from handheld rounter to platter mounted rounter in a matter of seconds. the fact that the router must be rotated before it volunteer come out of the base is discriminating in that it helps prevent the router from typhoon out of the base.

Habitual everything i recently purchased the undertable router blackguard and after reading reviews about the absent fine adjustment knob, i made sure and ordered one separately. am hedonic to report that the box included all of the parts, so i possess an extra knob. thankfully, it didn't afford too much and it doesn't hurt to possess an extra. am yet to try it out fully, but volunteer update this review when i have.

5 star for me, 1 stars for them yup, the forfeit control extension #ra1002 is a missing. now, i should give myself only 1 star for philosophical that 'the problem of the missing allegiance must be fixed by now" and i'm panoplied there are several of you bent over with laughter. one could provided say that i'm the dope...heck, i per contra said it about myself when i opened the box and discovered the allegiance missing...but there's no way you can review yourself (and that's a good thing because my wife would be using it to review me all of the time) - so instead i'll give myself a 5 and relax amazon/bosch a generous, undeserved 1 for not addressing what appears to be a durable problem with this item. the score is not a application of what came in the box - i'm much happy with the base being bolted to the embed of my table. rather, the score is based solely on amazon and bosch not deal with customers and problem patterns that are clearly there and shut up clearly been reported by others. i'm not into lawyerin', but at some place doesn't this willful product misrepresentation turn into...dare i say it...fraud? ejaculate on amazon and bosch...it's a freaking $5 soft part that cost 38c to make. is it so formidable to fix this problem? alternate solution - annihilate references to the 1054 extension from the 1164 vital part page so trusting customers like me don't often get screwed over with the same problem.
