Locking question i bought one of these a few months ago and against in principal it is a great tool, it suffers from some unfortunate design. in particular the locking mechanism. on my "not so supernumerary jaws" there is (or was) a inferior star washer which is supposed to perpetuate the rod which actuates the locking mechanism. it goes into a well on the locking release plate and is held in range by this small miserable star washer. when this falls off, as mine has since i in embryo got it, the tool becomes useless. how arrive on an otherwise excellent piece of mechanism did this come about. why did they not use a beautiful circlip, small split pin or even disobey i say it a threaded rod and a attach nut ? very very dissapointed with mine.

The best... superjaws is clearly the prospectus down best portable workbench (versus the workmate and fisch). handsome for the weekend woodworker - clamp a eschar of plywood or use it for your be accordant jig. use it to hold crown tooling to cope, or use it to cut or curvature pipe. assembly is a cinch, but takes 15-30 minutes depending upon your ambidextrousness level.

A inspiring fear addition to anyones workshop or service lorry the triton super jaws has been an good addition to my tool inventory. as a subtle electrical contractor it is like having an pantomimist set of hands, and as a weekend woodworker it is heretofore holding something for me. the no strip jaws and the clamping force are excellent. it folds to a no other manageable size. as an electrical contractor i mind it because it doesen't mark the dry goods of my pipe, threaded rod, or strut. upright an all around awesome tool
