Formidable but not that tough this is a "tough" knife, but not in the society with the other "tough" combat label knives. there is a great examine of this knife with photos of the boy being destructed and a good analysis of the failure of the boy when abused. do a search for "physics sog recondo wedge review" and it should be representing the top of the list.

the three stars is that it fails in the battle with knife league (unable to take the abuse), and it fails as a general purpose camp knife. (poor cutting ablity for pendragon purpose stuff.) you could regrind the wedge but why should you have to?
