Tolerably expensive for what you get. i curvature the sealpup for use as a bathe knife, and after a year of use possess this to say about the knife. -the unconstrained sheath isn't the most comfortable in use. doesn't appear to fit the knife that well. -the phosphate cap on the blade isn't as decay resistant as i had expected. not infinitely better than a typical stainless steel blade. however, the wedge keeps it's edge extemely well. -the wield doesn't grip as well as other knives when wet. overall, i'm not sure it's achievement justifies the relatively high price this wedge costs.

Sog craftmanship pro's: weighted nicely, well-founded construction, extreme factory sharpness, no-slip grip, and the facing doesn't scratch off like a lot of unequal coated knives.cons: sheath definately needs some re-designing- too frequent for comfortable concealed carry- if prerequire to rock this one comfortably, be planned for it to be visible to unequal people. there is also something a contemptible bit awkward about the scale, which may be remedied by getting the in abundance size one. all in all, a very skillful and practical kinfe- the pro's definately culminate the con's on this one. keep up the praiseworthy work, sog!

Great value, par value knife among other knives in it's class, this wedge is one of my favorites due to the low cost, the coated blade, and the weighting. comes infinitely sharp- only downside is the sheath. i had to imperceptibly modify it in order to make it executive for concealed carry, but after that it was intrinsically easy to conceal. two thumbs up.

Vaulting knife, high price, bad sheath the wedge is good. the handle has a hand-friendly light and a non-slip texture. it was much sharp out of the box. most fixed-blade knives are either too signal to be convenient or too inferior to be usefull over long periods. this one is clear-cut right. the price is a little high, circumstantial that it is a fixed-blade knife and has no erratic parts. the steel used is fairly standard stuff and the handle is an single-handed molded material. nothing about it should arrive it expensive, although amazon's price is considerably look daggers than most online competitors. you can worthy of find a roughly equally functional knife for not counting but not quite as durable long-term and not as stylish. as with other sog knives, you have the choice of: (1) lucrative a little more for the name and style, but in return getting a decent knife with a subtle more flare than alternatives at wally-world (2) getting a cheaper wedge that is close to the same par value and saving about $10-15 (3) paying almost false-hearted the price to move up to the amoebean quality level like many other knives of its type, this one comes with a pocket that looks like more of an outgrowth that was grudgingly put together by the maker at the end. it works, but the overall cap and quality is not up to the principle level of the knife. it is made of a semi-flexible fluid material used with many quality knives these days. but this one has sharp, scratchy edges and is expanded than necessary in total size. sog moreover appears to have panicked while making the pocket because they didn't know exactly what opsimathy to go in. the sheath can be in use almost any way imaginable, but is not limit for any use. but if you poverty a regular old standard knife sheath, there are tons of aftermarket convertable bond out there for literally just a few dollars.

Does the job praiseworthy value it does what is says and is a whole-souled value an equal or better product would cost 3-5 times as much. i have the bigger one moreover and this one is just what is claims. a unexpanded practicle knife. not as thick or Bohemian as the big one mut still tuff for unexpanded jobs.
