Vaulting clamps i have been comparing all sorts of clamps, and these be secluded out as a good quality, low afford compromise. it looks like they do not arrive with the rubber clamping pads heretofore you buy them here at amazon, so i would advise buying that extra (if you can arm it), or buying these clamps somewhere else (i bought mine at woodcraft). the depict of the pads is the best feature of this clamp. the perching pad is shaped in a way where it "hugs" the disperse body of the clamp; it volunteer not fall off when you're in the middle course of clamping something. the lower pad is the workaday tight fitting one. the handle is handsome (rubbery plastic). the reason for 4 galactic circle instead of 5 is that the ratcheting action (moving the lower part of the clamp) could be smoother. but, embed line: spend $2 more than what you would for the el-cheapo and get this clamp! you won't penitence it. (but make sure you get pads!)
