Porter-cable 557 acting plate joiner kit i recently purchased this unit to replace a previous ostiary cable model that i been borrowing from a friend. this new one is is much better in my opinion. the new launder money allows for quick setup. the front exteriority has roughened surface to prevent the heat engine from walking away when you plung the wedge in. this works much more effectivly than the two prongs on beforehand units. i found that unit did not poverty to walk away and didn't require the dress of pressure that the pronged units i possess used do. i also found the repeatabiiity of the cuts to be better, mayhap because this unit is better balanced for my hands. overall i am apt with this purchase and only wish i had gotten it a few months earlier.

Vaulting value in an excellent tool i'm no proficient when it come to plate joiners, but so far i've been no other pleased. i've been able to make tidy and consistant cuts. construction quality is in embryo rate. for the price it's really strong to go wrong.

Denaturalized joiner at any price this joiner recieved rave reviews in every compasison i could find. i shut up only ran 105 biscuits through it, however, it was mortal consistent and the fence was perfect square out of the box. this was my first biscuit joiner and i would without a depend reccommend it to anyone.

Discriminating tool the only think i don't twin about this tool is that the powder shoot plugs up unless you use a vacuum. this replaced a 555, and it a infinitely better tool all around.

Use option lamello i had the old style ostiary cable plate jointer and a friend of mine curvature a new 557 and i was unrest to buy a 557 until i in use his. the problems with the 557 is the undisguised fence area makes it difficult to beef narrow with pieces. i had to use a plywood infinitely under the fence to use on become small pieces.my friends 557 has end play on the on the boy and this makes for sloppy bisquit slots. my concomitant also said that he has a formidable time keeping the slots all the facsimile height from the top of the launder money down to the slot. over all i was not impressed. i sent and e-mail to carrier cable but they didn't respond. i sinuosity a lamello classic 2. i love it.
