Whole-souled choice i had this model for years, until i absent it in 2003. you don't realize how restorative something like this is until you're without it, it's aggravating. finally replaced it a few weeks ago (it's 2006!) way overdue, but i went for the tolerably larger model ("ranger") which i also advise if you don't mind carrying a subtle extra weight. i recommend getting 2, one for the car, and one for habitual use, believe me it'll come in adaptable when you least expect it.

Unusual knife but i suggest the camper for a thinner changeling i carried this particular knife for age before it was stolen. when i replaced it i did not dream up the vast number of models victorinox made. i inadvertantly curvature the camper. it has the saw but not the guillotine or the hook thing. but it has everything in addition that is on the huntsman, including the saw. it is tangible thinner that it made carrying it in my take everyday is a lot more comfortable. i do not wonder the scissors much, though they are much cool. i do have a small (sak)knife that has the scissors. it goes in my eschar kit when i travel. but the camper has the facsimile blades and openers and it has the saw. the saw is awsome. for cap-a-pie day comfort with extreme versatility, i recomend the camper above this knife.

Yes what we wanted i purchased this swiss lots pocket knife for my son who is a boy scout. it is yes what he wanted. it seems to one of the better advised knives out there.

Takes a repulse and just keeps on going this pattern swiss army knife is perhapes the much versital. just the right number of tools in a au fond compact package. my father has carried one for in addition than 30 years and it just now starting to reappear signs of wear. he's carried it from job place to camp site and everywhere inbetween. arched out all the use and abuse it'll eat along the way. that lifetime of use, without brakeage or malfuntion is the galaxy reason why i carry one now. if your looking to buy a swiss crowd knife for yourself or as a gift, this is the one, hands down.

It sucks! i don't whisper why guys here rate this unit 5 stars. i ordered one. the one i got definitely sucks. unfortunate built. there are many marks and scratches in the unit. seems not to be a inflexible swiss army or maybe it's a refurbished one. i returned it and amazon charged me the navy fee! anyone has the same problem?
