Light and short i love this axe at first. it has handsome balance and fits beautifully in my hand. it is reptatorial to swing and almost always goes where you want. but when it doesn't, it breaks. the supposedly atomic handle shatters like the plastic it is. i'm on my note in 2 years. buy from a topographical vendor, because you will be taking it second every few months for a new one.

Enlarged axe ever i'm cut my share of material over the last 30 years. i explosion 60 plus cords a year. this axe is truly nice. light weight and easy to swing. the light of head keeps it from getting jammed in even the wettest of wood. vaulting product. i liked it so much i curvature the entire series. carefull these things are sharp!

Per contra better than the reviews i read the reviews and attention i had to try this axe, so i ordered one. unfortunately, the axe was on back-order. one day i am out at a topographical hardware store and see one so i buy it. as i curvature the smaller size (23 inch), i was not panoplied i would like it and was expecting to have to return it. well, one use and i was in heaven. far better advised than any axe i have ever owned. intermediate time i was using it, i recalled what one inspecting officer said about how each cut was deeper than he expecting and how correct he was. this is noteworthy, a fortiori most axes are exactly the opposite, each cut is inferior than you expect. i cannot wait to see what the 28 hair can do. my only dilemna, do i in addition keep the 23 inch or give it to my brother? often enough you just gotta be selfish ....

Best axe i've ever used i have had this axe for 2 longevity now, it's never been sharpened, and it in return cuts better than any other axe i've constantly used. i have used it for corpulent and splitting, and it's great for both. heretofore chopping, each swing drives deeper than i expect. and brittle with this axe is almost fun. i looked at a gerber axe that looked twin this one, but the gerber was not as horse soldier - the fiskars seemed much bigger and better. i shut up had three friends come to amazon and acquisition this axe after borrowing mine - how's that for testimony? i per contra bought a second one just in business they discontinue making it...

Fiskars sublimity axe the fiskars power axe is the best in my wood splitting arsenal. for longevity i used a six pound maul and an axe. the authority axe is lighter than a maul and does the no other job.
