Praiseworthy for moderate torque applications the 4 1/2" habilitation of these jaws is useful when you are tightening alternator belts on an engine. it is not too formidable to hold the belt tight with these extractor in one hand while you screw up the nut with the other. they bequest damage fasteners if used in range of a proper wrench.

they are in addition useful to loosen sink traps and unequal large plumbing nuts, if they are not "stuck" or located in real tight quarters. they work well on fluid & nylon pipe fittings if they are not "stuck." you can easily crush plastic pipe and fittings if you are not careful. these are no secondary for a pipe wrench, but once the fasteners are loose, these traverse okay.

the slip jaw can be a contemptible awkward if you don't control both handles heretofore setting the size.
