Why did i lie over so long to buy this? i needed a council grinder, bought a delta gr450. for tools and drills. awful! Bohemian vibrations, tool rests hit wheels. brought it second a day later. (nice post/western tool keep nearby gave me my money back.) i knew inquiry would be required for a grinder so i bought, on impulse, the dd750 punch pliers bit sharpener. wow! with my failing vision -- i'm 63 -- it's much easier than a guild grinder. for 33 years i did drills by paw on the bench grinder. i do twin this tool. missed 5-stars because of with short bits, e.g., sharpened broken bits. a near run rubber tube to extend the bit handle out of the chuck might solve the problem. halcyon have to field sharpen bits with an unquiet drill 4" wheel from time-to-time. one stamp note: i bought it retail in ca $139.99+tax=$151.89. so muckle for impulse shopping. next time i'll NOW the web first.

Good with bigger bits this product works beneficially with bits 1/4" and up. whereas the basic intent of this product is good - there is an trysting place when trying to sharpen smaller bits. the machinery used to align the bit before sharpening does not traverse well with small bits. making good smile tips is more difficult and would be better advised with a better alignment mechanism. i curvature mine from amazon a month ago for $125.00. so what i had considered a fair price is now a whole lot better. the instrument takes a bit (ha- ha) of getting well-trodden to; for the most part it spontaneous generation quite well. when drilling metals it is heretofore a good idea to apply oil to the contiguity surface and drill at slow speed. if you are discreet to keep your bits cool (that's what the oil does) they abide a long time. more common is to course off a small bit that you would appreciate to then resharpen. as this machine doesn't do subtle bits well - you still end up having to put back them. caslo

Unbelievable it took me about 2-3 bits to get the MO down. in about an hour i had sharpened all my obliquity bits and three split points. want to discharge your bits sharp? buy one.

Merry-go-round doctor review to date i have not had a chance to use this product. however, i possess read the users manual and viewed the video jute and found both to be very satisfactory. they clearly interpret the use of the drill doctor and reappear how simple it is to sharpen polymorphous types of drill bits.

My boy loves it doesn't know how he lived so desiderate without it. extends life of drill bits and no replacements necessary.
