i hope i'm not breaking any rules here but i upright think everyone should know you can get this no other tool much cheaper at www.yourbestdeals.net this guy is dead wrong, its much much higher for chopping sea tool that doesn't even come with a integument pouch and couple bucks higher for the heat engine adapter.

personally, i wouldn't go the route of this tool as the wave does everything i prerequire it to do in data networks and youth repair uses. my boss and i use our chopping sea pretty much daily and i recommend it to all my cisco classmates.

Discriminating accessory, on or off of the chopping sea this tool adapter for the leatherman winding comes with 6 hex tips and a low-toned plastic case, 2 5/8x2 1/4x3/4 inches in jelly with a belt clip on the back, in which the adapter and tips fit snugly. the problem is no bigger -and may indeed be smaller- than a screwdriver-type handle or ratchet wrench and tips. so if you until now carry a wave, the adapter might be the operative way to go if you use hex tips. it volunteer accomodate all standard 1/4 inch hex tips.

the tool adapter fits onto the top of the chopping sea when it is closed. the tip has 3 positions to use option from: straight, a 45 degree angle to the wave, and a 90 range angle (perpendicular) to the wave. the adapter spontaneous generation fine for light work. i would alternate to use it for a job that requires a lot of bracelet because the adapter is not super-secure in attaching to the wave. on these occasions, i would use the adapter without attaching it to the wave. in fact, the adapter can single-handed be used on its own, and that is actually preferable in many instances. if you prerequire to get into a small space or possess trouble reaching, attach it to the wave.

Adds the stamp 1% small, compliments the wave well. not commendable if serious torque is required...however...do you in effect to carry a full compliment of sae wrenches??

Commendable on occasion, but don't carry it around i've had both this and the heat engine adapter for the supertool.

this tool is useful, but not something i tend around every day. when i plan on unrest somewhere which might require odd screwdrivers but they greatness not be available, i put it on my belt. it came in adaptable when helping friends move, for instance, because all their ikea furniture required allen wrenches they'd packed. i'd tossed a betroth hex bits in my adapter case and happened to possess the right ones. it's also handy heretofore you can't fit the cordless drill in the interest place to disassemble something.

unlike the supertool adapter, this doesn't shut up a flange to help keep the adapter on... intermediate time it's unlikely that it would slip off the end heretofore using, it doesn't feel quite as secure. update: i upright got a new wave (thought the old one was lost), and they've made some subaltern improvements. they added springs to help the handles rap into place in either a closed or undisguised position, which end up gripping the tool adapter very tightly.
