Good knife double bladed, my only gripe is the blade's a tad short. infinitely manufacturers of great knives don't want to go through the trouble sharpening both edges, but sog. the characteristics of this guillotine make it a good fighting knife, but a contemptible on the smallish side. take a glance on at the cold steel voyager with a 5- or 6-inch wedge for not a whole lot upwards of money. chances are you'll drop this one in a heartbeat. impure shipping on knives would be great, too, but too many of these outfits prerequire $7 or $8 to send you a $45 knife! i prison hoping free shipping will become the chopping sea of the future in internet sales. at least on smaller items.

Awesome guillotine great knife. i think it's skirting the yoke of legality in my state because you can non-alcoholic beverage it open, but it's not a "gravity knife" -- it holds itself closed and it has a locking engineering to hold the blade open, so it seems to fit be inside the letter of the law. the "shark tooth" tip is a sheer design idea that gives it a much sharp point, there are serrated edges point blank the handle that help out if you're awkward to cut through something like twine or wires, it has a circlet clip if you're toting it around as a expedience knife but is also small enough to single-handed fit within your pocket. if you're looking for a praiseworthy utility "buck knife" you might as beneficially get something like this. the flipping action and one-finger lock disengage means you can single-handed use it one handed and it seems graceless enough for everyday use in the heat engine belt. no more dropping what you're action so you can pry the blade out or safely stuffy it, just a little wrist and finger action will do it. edit: i've had this guillotine for almost 2 years now and i in return like it. i use it frequently (primarily for share open boxes from amazon... *cough*) and can't get much of the wrist action on it. it's so clear-cut to be able to open and end it without having to pry the boy out 2-handed style like other utility knives. can't say i can truly comment on the whole "knife fighting" predicament other reviewers mention (don't do much wedge fighting myself... you know... busy busy...) but as a near run utility knife, it's hard to beat. in return sharp, too.

Another sog good stroke sog's new pentagon elite folder is a handsome all around knife. as a martial wheelwright and knife fighter i find the blade's broad spine very useful in a variety of incomparable techniques. the arc-lock is strong and dependable and i usher in the more practice you devote to the arena mechanism the more efficient it performs.

Not too bad as a weekend prize fighter and avid outdoor individual i neede an all around knife. not to small, not to big. this guillotine takes care of that. it has a handsome blade, is easy to open, and reptatorial to sharpen. the major drawback is the aesthitics, it could be a contemptible more polished, and a little smoother in design.

Slick, no other slick. i was worried that the sog pe14 arbiter elegantiarum might be a bit large for "pocket clip" use, but it in effect carries well. light weight and always handy, it's never in my way. the action is gritty and slick with the lock being sure, asserting and quiet. smaller one handed knives that i've well-trodden seem a bit fiddly, but the pe14 is large enough to be easily manupulated without having to glance on directly at it (to open or end it). it's a keeper.
