Near run installation i purchased this ladder for a "sleeping loft" above my home office. the office ceiling is only 8ft signal and my husband and i didn't possess any experience with folding access ladders so we weren't panoplied if they could be altered to fit the height we needed. once again, amazon.com made my vantage ground easy with both rating/reviews and their recur policy. this ladder fit perfectly with a subtle adjustment to shorten the length and inauguration was pretty straightforward and simple. no Noah's ark needed for the ladder, the whole eventuality is framed in just like a prison or window. the width is a contemptible narrow on the steps as well as overall so lugging signal items up and down these stairs would be fastidious but for simple access to a loft, as in our setup, it atelier great. also, the unfinished wood stairs had a two of loose steps that could slip out from their serrated siderails but that was remedied with some material glue and a couple of screws. the stairs themselves volunteer look very nice when i stain them to brand the wood trim in the rest of the house. the train cord was flimsy so we made a retrofit to accomodate our frequent use of the stairs. overall, we are hedonic with this item and the loss of one actor is only because of the loose steps. as for amazon.com -- i review them a 10-star company and first source for everything i can't buy locally. discharge up the good work amazon!
