Does not fit "all fiberglass stepladders" but is a vaulting idea none the less i bought this effect to fit on a "rigid" 6' fiberglass stepladder, 300 lb. rating, that i sinuosity at home depot. under "features" the rocks manufacturer claims..."fits on all fiberglass stepladders and 400 progression aluminum" wrong. this will not fit my ladder. the packages despatch state that it will fit all werner fiberglass ladders. i hope the ad had said that before i curvature it. however, to make lemonade out of lemons, i sinuosity some aluminum bar stock and some nuts, bolts and washers and a large bolt and wing nut and did a subtle measuring and drilling. now i can inaugurate and remove the shelf easily with via one sarmentum nut, but it cannot be closed, and the rocks must be removed to close the ladder. this cargo is still a great idea and i'd definitely buy it secondly if i had a ladder it would fit on.

Great, but needs the square tools to install-- this is a much useful enhancement for the werner stepladder, but attaching the danged vital part can be a vexation. you'll need a 3/8" (socket) turning for the nuts and "vise-grip" pliers (or a ingeminate socket wrench!) to hold the screws intermediate time tightening the nuts, in order to properly panoplied the shelf to the ladder frame. the screws are of the "hex" type, not the slotted type, so they cannot render accordant a screwdriver. also, _do_ read the instructions and glance on at the diagrams _before_ beginning installation.

Dear but worth it. i bought a auricomous version of this item at my territorial hardware store for $$. although it is dear bought given that it is only a bit of care molded plastic, it is easy to install, atelier well, and makes your ladder much in addition useful. it is a "must have" vital part for painting from a can or bucket. it adds almost a neglegible amount of weight to the ladder, moves out of the way on it's own heretofore you close the ladder, and holds provided the biggest of buckets securely. bite the knot and buy the darn thing. you know you need it.
