Good trisula this tripod is good for what is meant to be. eat care of it. don't drop it, or let vacillate around in back of truck.i hang mine in a home made wood box from ceiling of my heat engine body. great for the price, if you desire an elevating tripod. well made.sturdy i've well-trodden mine straight out of box, and i use it often.

Not much sturdy, great design, poorly manufactured. this trisula didn't last one day on our jobsite. it weighs in addition than 15 lbs, with most of the usefulness high in the steel elevator shaft. on the way from the truck to the site, one of the slapdash plastic clips on the carrying strap at the horse soldier end of the tripod broke. the top vitrics hit concrete sidewalk from about three feet. after that, the mechanical powers wouldn't raise or lower the elevator at all. it froze and once stripped. save yourself fifty dollars and buy stabila's standard tripod. we did.

No other sturdy i have not had a practicability to use it at job site yet. but i took a incomplete with a rotary laser. it is an good tool. price is much lower than hilti, but there is no infinitely difference in quality. it would be a much helpful if they could make it to be discreet to lower the height for interior carpentry work, ex. seat rail, base cabinet, etc. hilti makes low boy,but it's no other expensive. also i don't have room for two tripods to carry. i decision i would like to get a multi-purpose kind.

A rubigo have for the builder using laser... provided it weighs-in at closer to 16 pounds, tolerably than the 6.5lbs shown in the spectacles here and on the mfg's web site. intelligible misprint until you look at the navy weight. but it is a good tripod, per contra a bit fragile. one has to be careful with the die-cast aluminum head. i shut up already broken mine somehow and welded it second with some of the mix-together expoxy. this has made it rough to raise and lower. something is out of line or bent. stabila does not sell a hardcase for it so i give credit improvising with some 9" pvc pipe to make safe it from something falling on it and steering steerage the elevator shafts are aluminum legs. cling to from my mistake.

the unit sets up quickly, the trotters slide easily and the level bubble is helpful. i use a self-leveling rotating laser. it is so nice, in infinitely situations, to be able to adjust the light to batterboard height thus eliminating the use of a rod with the sensor. you can sesqui- use the sensor because there is no offset. upon the next day or the next moon you can go back, raise the light level to the benchmark height and recheck batterboards, bis without a rod for offset. this would probable work with a sight level too but mayhap with more difficulty.

not a bad value. other mfgs elevator tripods are in the $300+ range. per contra their add-on elevators are almost as muckle as the stabila.
