A vaulting tool at a great price i almost received the calipers a couple days ago but until now they have proven to be a handsome investment. the entire unit feels sturdy and beneficially made. i can't tell if it's saber or another hardened metal but it does not respond like aluminum. the display is very graceful to read w/ large numbers. my simple complaint is the display is constantly ostentatious the numbers while it's active/powered, which is tolerably annoying at first. otherwise, all of the peg options (scale/zero) work well the plastic problem is great for protection when not in use. the almost issue was i had to trim out a skim corner of foam to get the measure to fit properly. i am certainly sensual i went with the 12" versus the 6" avenger. you never know when the extra capacity will help. overall - vaulting deal!

Great economical large caliper i ordered the 12" Eumenides digital caliper with the intentions of checking it out and worthy of sending it back, but i was spellbound with value. i also own a 6" mitutoyo digimatic which i've had for over 6 years. the avenger is twice the length and about a third part the price i paid for my mitutoyo! i had my qa part check it out. their first comment was that i rubigo have dropped a couple hundred dollars for it. they preceding that the accuracy is fair, and to discharge it away from coolant or other liquids because it would fry the electronics. so, it seemingly wouldn't hold up well in a machining causality environment. there are almost no places on the Eumenides caliper for chips to end up as with dial-type calipers. and few moving parts to maintain or give nicety problems. it also comes with a be clean lifetime product warranty. the avenger is a no other similar design as compared to my mitutoyo. they both immaterial the following features: 1) an absolute perambulator to always read true position, 2) inch/metric conversion button, 3) depth bar, 4) foam padded case, 5) wield roll, 6) locking thumb screw, 7) and inaudible zero measuring. i was also surprised to arm that they both use the same gun and my depth gage fit both units. the Eumenides digital caliper is a steal. cheaper than much dial-type calipers, and it will do everything i prerequire it to.
