Praiseworthy clamp the clamp is very usful and i twin the jack-type option. i lifted my jetted tub and it made a three man job into a single man job without any gentility or missing body parts. good tool for the money.

Handsome for flooring i bought a pair to invest in 500 sq/ft of 5/8 pre-finished bamboo flooring. appreciate another reviewer said, i have to bless amazon.com for their service. one arrived damaged, and amazon.com overnighted a replacement. approbation to them. the quick clamp feature was whole-souled when i had to do a 180 degree turn to square up and install routine tongues, and the jack feature is admirable for racking the planks when i'm so stuffy to the wall that i can't provided use my t&g pneumatic nailer. they never indebted for themselves on the first use. a special must have if you plan to do any long-faced wood floor installs.

Pleased with performance these jacks work well both to screw up and spread. the way they are designed, allows one to enter the spreading jaws into as little as a 1/4" of snap and then lift or spread them apart. i king up sagging doors so i can upwards of easily tighten the hinge screws. they are made in marble and so the so quality of achievement is not superb, i had to send one set back for replacement as the assemblage screw for one of the jaws was absent and i couldn't put in a new one as the lacuna had no threads. i have to commend amazon.com though because they had a new set shipped out to me in days, per contra before i sent the old ones back! i tried to king up my car with one of them, but the fluid handle broke because i put too muckle force on it, but they replaced that one too, so now i embrace what their limitations are.

I use them for laying flooring. the fastcap has a built in jaw that is absolute for getting into the 1/4" gap between the burrock and your hardwood flooring to pull those abide few rows up tight for nailing or gluedown. for the record, i am over 50.
