Strong core light this a 'bad boy' light. it is stark bright, and lasts a long time on a charge. it is heavy, but you can set it down and render accordant the swivel head. yes, this light is well-trodden by many fire deptments. if you poverty a light that will last and stamp on a single charge this is the way to go. believing it's over a hundred bucks, but this portable is a serious tool, and will abide for years and years. my battery clear-cut gave out, (after about 7 years) and i got a restoration for under $20. if you like signal quality, hardcore stuff, this light will not let you down

Streamlight litebox: now you're skillful for that power outage make sure you shut up one of these in your hurricane or jump preparedness kit! i would consider the litebox as a "lantern" and not a flashlight. my lucidness of a lantern is that they are generally larger and can't fit into your pocket. although it's au fond large and heavy (due to the battery), you can't go vicious with this bad boy! supposedly used by many discharge departments, i can see why they use them: horse soldier duty plastic casing, comfort handle, thin acute beam (although you can buy different light modules so you can have a broader beam), macrocolous run time. the head can also gun up and down, so it can be a whole-souled work light. would i buy it again? possibly. the limiting functionary is the price. but this is from a par value manufacturer and is a quality product.
