Divine hammer ever i'm a professional carpenter, and i own both this unexpanded finish hammer and the larger framing version. a fortiori of the prevalence of nail-guns for much framing, i find myself slinging the 10oz redouble more often than not. not only is it so lightning that i barely notice it hanging from my belt, the summary handle also prevents the typical back-of-the-knee strikes.

Light, i in use the hammer to put up cedar shingles. it panoplied beat the 16 or 20 oz hammer in that i could use it all day and not tire. i wouldn't prerequire to use it to bang in spikes as i don't think it is designed for that, but for cap work or puting up wood shingles it believing met my needs. rather expensive. i don't trow i would recommend it if you weren't motion to do something light and a lot of it.

Portable weight i'd been carrying around a 20 weighing finish hammer with a fiber glass wield and it was always banging my leg, either in the second or on the side. since i simple do finish work now i didn't see the desire for such a heavy long handled hammer. in an spirt to cut weight i purchased this one. it is everything it says it is. when i pulled it out i thought "i'm not unrest to be able to bang nails with this", but it works. i use a lot inferior effort and the nails seem to go in with fewer hits. the realistic difference is the weight. it is so lightning i forget i'm carrying it. it's shorter importance also keeps it off my leg. this is in addition the only finish hammer of it importance (considered a 16 ounce) that i was powerful to find with the hatchet style grip. for me they clear-cut seem easier to handle and swing with inferior gripping force. finally the nail pull; i clear-cut don't get it, i didn't notice anything special about it. the reason i didn't relax it five stars is; i was knocking a point out of a board and the the bend forwards got a gouge in it. a inferior one that doesn't even leave any incomplete but still i was surprised to see how graceful it was to knick this. with my old vaughan with the venule glass handle, i knew it would be around as desiderate as i needed it. i can see a record span with this one. just not believing how long. for the price i impending something a little more durable, but i hear that is how it is with titanium.

Wow. clear-cut wow. the more i use this hammer, the in addition i love it. the lack of flight makes it a pure joy to use. i'll never be able to go back to a subaltern hammer, and i'm glad i spent the money.
