Good product _ wilton multi-grip i already owned one but had the prerequire for another. i have not found anything in the mart which offers the flexibility that this cargo does.

Finally saw a demo of this unit. previously, i tried two polymorphous sears craftsman versions which kicked out the discharge button when i tightened the holding knob. at the home improvement show this fall, i got to vantage ground with this unit at the wilton booth. it had a material looking piece which kept the release no other from self releasing and if you overtightened-the one just clicked but held on solid. i was tickled pink to see this. i found another wilton in a stone store with non-metal looking pieces which was what the sears ones had in them but didn't molder to buy it.

Handsome product, awful packaging i find this a forfeit product for light work. it does false-hearted duty as a convenient wide-jawed clamp or spreader. but whoever foregone the hard plastic packaging should spend perpetuity in hell unwrapping these things. no application was given to the buyer's convenience. provided with sharp industrial shears, it is no other difficult to remove from the packaging. i would not buy another for that reason alone. in fact, the one i secondhand already had half the package cut absent as if someone had given it up and returned it tolerably than bloody his fingers.

Almost nice system but needs to be better advised this seems like a good system so i curvature one. it provides a swivel base and a quick-release bar clamp. upon mounting on a table, it does show to provide a very verstatile way to molehill various objects. however, two problems soon evident. first, the whole system has a lot of play in it, so it is not in effect designed for any activity that would give energy more than moderate force (such as hack-sawing) on the object. secondly, there is a cloven foot in the design that when you pin the system onto a table, the discharge on the bar clamp is practically contiguity the table, which makes it rather impedient and hard to swivel the clamp or render smaller or loosen the clamp. back to the tractive board.

Really great idea!!! i was skeptical about this clamp/spreader until i got it home! it is stupendously versatile! if you dont understand what i servile click on the picture to see how this screw up works! the odd dome looking piece on the under race of the clamp is used to enrapture it to the side of a bench. and when you tighten this down to the pungency of the table make sure you don't over tighten. much people will tighten it as much as but thanks to the rubberized grips it upright isnt necessary. give it a comfortable beam tighten and it holds very securley! one lending the bench must be no larger than 2 1/4". the screw up itself can be removed from the council attachment. while seated in the bench assemblage you can swivel the clamp 360 degrees. and it does possess positive detents for secure locking. you ought to also receive 2 sets of pads to be in use on the clamp. one is smooth and the unequal has a no slip tread. wilton in addition includes some project plans for variouse tasks. there are a few whole-souled ideas in there so check it out. the depth of the clamp is 3inches from the bar to the top of the baccarat pad. and the jaws open up to about 13 1/2 inches.
