They ply but they're expensive and denaturalized the stylus led draws about 90 ma from three fresh cells, consuming more than a third part of a watt, and will run many hours on these, but it dims considerably after a few hours. the aaaa-diameter cells inside a duracell 9-volt cohort will work in the diamond stylus without modification, and the aaaa-diameter cells from infinitely other 9-volt batteries (including eveready and varta brands) bequest work with the addition of a 4mm or 5mm spacer. the spacer is single-handed made from a short rivet of a jelly that the cap spring end volunteer retain. the batteries must be asserting the right way for the led to work. the light of the cells from 9-volt batteries varies; varta cells be similar these eveready cells but others rubigo be installed backwards from what you'd conjecture because their flat end is the predicable one.
