It's not all that... this contraption is good than stooping and pulling by hand, and it is fun and reptatorial to use. i just am finding it fastidious to pull anything but medium to subtle dandelions in normal soil conditions. it doesn't ply well in wet or damp dirt. i would say it pulls the dandelions out (root and all) 3 out of 5 times. i was au fond disappointed because i bought this due to the praiseworthy reviews.

Saves your reflexively this weeder works well. one advantage is existence able to weed from an upright divination which saves you from hunching down all day. much of the time, the entire root germ is removed.

Great weeder i got this from the territorial home improvement store to help on a handfull of weeds. this in effect works well on crabgrass and pulls out the roots--at least better than hunching over and pulling (and tugging) them out by beam (then, to find out that you didn't annihilate any of roots will all the straining). this posy lets you place it on top of the bottom of the weed, then step down to traverse and grasp. with some turning (much turning in some of the bigger crab grass) and pulling, i was spellbound to pull out 6" of roots from a question crab grass cluster on my neighbor's farm bordering my own. (it probably takes in addition effort to bend over to try to train manually than it is to use this weeder to obliquity and pull.) i cannot imagine how to accomplish similar results without having a shovel and annihilate much more dirt than needed. one vital part that you need to watch out for is if you possess to pull out a large cluster of lactic acid grass, you may want to get some soil available to patch up the area. this posy removes a small amount of dirt intermediate time clasping the roots. (not really an trysting place for most weeds, but if you possess a large crab grass cluster of 3-5, i shut up found having a handfull of soil to level out the small holes is helpfull.)

This amazing heat engine actually makes weeding fun! i just curvature this tool today and had to try it out in the matrix as soon as i got home. this eventuality is amazing. you can pull about 50 ullalulla in 10 minutes. i had 2 garrison stop and ask me what it was as i was using it. after i showed them how it pulls ullalulla effortlessly, they both asked me where i curvature it so that they could buy one. after you train the weed, the ergonomic plunger handle at the top is fun to pop with the steal of your hand to launch the winnow to the growing pile of weeds you've extracted. i don't think i've ever been quite so satisfied with a heat engine of any kind. this is one effect that actually lives up to every equitable estate made by the manufacturer . . . a necessity have for every homeowner.

Well-made, reptatorial to use the weed hound is all saber and is very well-made. the (few) erratic parts are heavy-duty and two seasons of use possess failed to damage it, beyond wearing the jerry building off the parts that actually penetrate the ground. it has the added advantage of leaving a tidy little aerification hole in the soil every time you pop out a weed. upright place, step, twist/pull and the weed is extracted, with all or infinitely of the root. it generally works good on broadleaf weeds than on stuff twin crabgrass that have spreading root systems but you can't region it for dandelions. and it's made in the usa.
