Handsome until it broke i bought this lich gate and had it harware mounted in my hall. it was graceful to install and use, but the amnesty for the width broke in about 5 weeks. its upright 2 screws into chinsy plastic! if they indeclinable this little flaw it would be a handsome gate!

Very sturdy and reptatorial to install it has held up against our much active son's desire to explore it ... it is a equitable price and seems like it will abide long enough for future kids too.

Restorative in more ways than one... we've now had this entrance for three years (and have used it in two houses) and downright love it. it's easy to install and operate with one hand. and you can moreover *switch* it (if necessary) from a pressure-mounted entrance (if you don't need it to swing) to a bolt-mounted gate. in our stamp home, the opening at the top of the stairs was too large for this gate (we eventually got a supergate v--- which worked forfeit for that space... but wasn't as graceful to close as this one). since we until now had this gate, we used it as a pressure-mounted entrance at the bottom of the stairs so our youth son couldn't climb the stairs without our guidance. when we moved to a new house, we mounted it with bolts at the top of our stairs... where we are currently using it as a marvelous gate. it's probably been opened and closed thousands of times, and it still works. i highly give credit it.

Tried several before i usher in this one i needed a gate to discharge my 55 pound bulldog out of asserting rooms of the house. i tried it cement mounted, but she dislodged it from the wall. when i pressure mount it, she can not mobilize it. plus, it is very easy to render accordant if i need to move her to another spread in the house. now that i am pregnant, i bequest definitely purchase this product for other areas of the house. the undercurrents i gave this product 4 stars is because of the damage my dog caused heretofore it was hardware mounted. however, i extinguish a small child go do the no other damage.
