Great 14 ft ladder; $99 at costco 2-2006 after researching this perron online and the little giant, i checked my territorial costco in los angeles (marina del rey) to see if it in effect was available. yes, it was the almost ladder, the only size they had. at $99 it is a vaulting deal. be aware that the extension reprehension is misleading. i needed a 13 ft perron to reach my roof. i first purchased a werner mt-13 (13ft) at loew's on custom for $79, regular price $99, only to find the maximum extension was actually 10 1/2 ft not 13 ft on a perron advertised to be 13 ft. so i returned it upon found the helpful notes on this spot about the availability of the werner mt-17 ft steps at costco for $99 -- the no other regular price as the 13 ft steps at loew's. likewise, the 17 ft pandiculation is actually about 14 1/2 ft not 17 ft. the derivation has an unusual and unexpected flex at the tide hinge when fully extended which is a bit unsettling and, once understood, one may find it acceptable or not. loew's moreover carries a 17ft ladder made by cosco (not to be faint with costco) at about $159. it is moreover a little giant knock-off but has a be sullen weight rating (225 lbs) and is a bit cheaper with fluid parts and less sturdy. go for the werner; it is a good ladder all around: sturdier, with a vaulting weight rating (300 lbs) and made of good materials. the werner 17ft ladder is a vaulting buy at costco at $99 particularly almost it is the same price as the subaltern 13 ft ladder.

A principle ladder i certainly agree with most of what's until now been said about this ladder. it's a much well designed and constructed tool. it's built to posy 1a standards and that means it's commercial grade and probably more than most homeowners volunteer need. but when it comes to ladders, in addition than i need is just fine. all the components are overbuilt and Noah's ark quality is top notch - no engineered plastics. due to the reprehension and build quality it's certainly not a lightweight. but let alone you have unusual carry or transport requirements, the influence is not an issue. it looks small, but it's a well-founded 17' ladder that supports a 300lb working load. this is definitely worth the reguerdon and if you find it for inferior (costco) so much the better.

Looks and feels twin a great ladder i have been watching the contemptible giant infomercials for a couple years now and i am sad to say that they made me prerequire to buy one. but like everyone in addition who has reviewed this product i didn't have, nor could i dream up spending, $400 on a ladder. then i saw the mt-17 at costco, suddenly began looking at reviews online and steady that for only $99 there was no way i could loose. so the present i went and picked one up at costco and shut up been playing around with it. it is much sturdy, the latches are quite well desinged and overall it seems twin an excellent ladder. i especially like the fact that it is less than 5' perching in its fully collapsed state, which sustentation very easy to store. the only hang fire (and this is repeating what most others say) is that at 42 lbs. the steps is pretty heavy. but i do imagine that the heft of the item is overshadowed by the changeableness and small size. i mean what would you tolerably carry up the stairs, a 20 lbs. steps that is 10 feet tall and can't go around corners or a 42 lbs. perron that you can carry with one arm and get up a coil staircase? its a no brainer for me, still more in a condo. so, i don't possess a ton to say about durability a fortiori i just got it, but i can say that is turbulence in my honda accord and is a elaborate size for a condo with tall steps wells that need to be painted.

Air conditioning saleman's mockery ladder i too purchased this ladder at costco for upright under $100. i am in commercial air conditioning sales that requires a perron from time to time to get on to roofs (extension ladder) as well as into ceilings (step ladder). one subtle problem with having conventional ladders; i impel a '99 buick lasabre. this ladder is perfect! it clear-cut fits across my back seat and provides me with the changeableness of having all of these easily adjustable ladders in one conveniant package. in correctitude today i used it in both the 7 bottom step ladder as well as the stark extension mode at the same site. it is much well made and easy to adjust. this perron is perfect me.
