Present size about 10 ft 6 inches stark extended i found this ladder on sale at loew's for $79. it is an whole-souled ladder considering stability, materials and quality. also, it is rated at 300lbs, which should accommodate most typical american men. the one trysting place i had concerned the actual length when fully extended. the ladder was advertised by loew's as 13ft, the bagman indicated the same as did the sales receipt. due to the frequent plastic packaging, it wasn't possible to dip into the specs on the box. in fact, as i learned when i got it home, fully pathless the ladder is less than 11 ft, closer to about 10 ft 6 inches. for me, the is an issue due to the sort of my roof. so just be real about the size. otherwise it is an whole-souled ladder.

Damaged when habitual i'm sure the ladder is great, but do yourself a impose upon and make a trip to lowes, instead of ordering online. i ordered for a xmas gift, a fortiori of the free shipping, and it came with packaging all ripped and steps is dirty and scratched. now, i volunteer have to return and go to lowes anyway!!

Sturdy, graceful to use, versatile ladder just got this perron for my home and have used it for many jobs including wrapping the a/c, changing the bulbs on my extramundane floodlights and cleaning rain gutters. it is an good ladder at a good price. it is reptatorial to use with no need for instructions. the steps feels very sturdy and secure in cap-a-pie position without any shaking, creaking or wobble in every position from step ladder to fully pathless straight ladder. the j bolts that attach the telescoping ladder in place are galore and feel well made. the telescoping subject is smooth and the spring-loaded j bolts tax me to lengthen the ladder while it was upright without help. it also folds small tangible to fit inside my minivan's very inferior trunk. my only complaint is that it is au fond heavy ladder but that is the cost of sturdiness i suppose.

One Bohemian duty ladder i bought this mt-13 because of its versatility - i thought it would be the square size for a variety of jobs on a one narrative house. what i hadn't been expecting was the usefulness of the thing - when its together it's like carrying around two ladders at once. i imagine that's part of the tradeoff for a 300 lb rated ladder, but conditionally you're a nfl lineman by day, you may prerequire to think twice before getting this eventuality for odd-job use. i didn't take the perron back, because i do appreciate its principle and versatility, but i do keep it sesqui- as two three-step ladders, which are completely handy. it's a snap to assemble and pack when a taller ladder is needed, and i bequest say i feel more secure on this than on my old exogenous stepladders. also good for scaffolding.

Upright the right ladder for a single jhuth house on a slab.... as a contractor, i use a lot of ladders. cosco was the first to clone the little giant ladder about wild card years ago. apparently, little giant's patent was in return in force for the hinges. i own the cosco 17ft worlds enlarged ladder and used it for a two of years, but i needed something longer. the simple flaw in the cosco are the angular steel braces on the inside of the ends of the nucleolus hinged section. these are a bit annoying, when you are using it as an pandiculation ladder. in january 2002, i purchased the adytum prefiguration 1 22 ft little giant from amazon.com. the simple difference was the hinges and a few irritating braces in the climbing area of the two temper extension pieces of the cosco. the cosco is made in korea. the contemptible giant is made in usa. both functions flawlessly to this day. i embed the little giant cloned at home focus as the gorrilla brand ladder at tea-party depot. $99 for the 13 ft form and $199 for a 21 ft model. the perron is essentially a china made copy of the adytum prefiguration 1a little giant. my last purchase is the mt-13 werner. it appears to be another clone of the subtle giant type 1a, also made in china, worthy of by the same company that makes the gorilla. i would give credit the mt-13 and the mt-17 in the werner brand, but i in return prefer the little giant in the 22 ft model. it is a ocean greyhound by five pounds than the 22ft werner but cost about $130 more. since all of the unconstrained little giant patents have expired, the hinges on the cannibal and werner models are identical to the subtle giant. of all of the models, the mt-17 would be illusive for most home owners. it volunteer go to the second floor window of a two narrative house. the 22ft model will go to the shed of a two story house, but almost for one with a slab foundation, not one with a laundry or a crawl space. the 17 ft form is a good balance between weight importance and function. the best deal would be the werner mt-17. the principle of materials and assembly of all the models reappear nearly equal. one reviewer noted that these ladders were strong to extend. the best method is halcyon the method of extending the ladder using the action described in the little giant instructional video. since the methods are copyrighted by subtle giant, the clone manufacturers cannot use them with their own despatch sheets, videos or manuals. accordingly, i cannot encircle the little giant procedure in this review. the 13ft. (actual is 11ft. 13ft is an osha rating, since pandiculation ladders have overlaps.) ladder is ideal for a one narrative house on a slab or a trailer. heretofore i first used it to get on a home of such as house, i thought it was a subtle short. however, after using it several times, i usher in that it was ideal. the key is to range the space between the top and the note rung at the edge of the roof. i embrace that ladder makers recommend a grabbing of three feet above the roof edge, but you would shut up to go around the side of the ladder's above the roof. this "grabbing length" is a subtle arkward to me. since the top of this and other little giant clones have flared tops, i fancy my method. i can stoop dowm and climb directly onto the roof, while keeping my nucleolus of gravity very low. the same can be done, intermediate time getting off of the roof. so the 13ft. perron is just right. the thing i truly like about this length is easy handling. it balances well, heretofore fully extended and makes a compact group that fits nicely into a car almost all of even some compact car. in the walk ladder mode, it is probably the sturdiest and safest that you could ask for. for the price, the werner mt's are the divine deal. best of all, the mt-13 is almost $99 at lowes.
