Low-toned & decker workmate while still a skillful tool to have around the house, it is not as Bohemian as the originals that had cast aluminum braces. intelligence were missing in shipping due to the way b&d throws the wisdom into a flimsy box. but on a believing note, b&d support was great and they promptly sent the visionary parts. this is worth having for the price, but i was concerned to see my old workmate go.

B&d ergonomic habilitation at it's best although it's a stamped aluminum frame, the one maintains its structural integrity with ease under duress. b&d obviously put some true time into the design of this unit as the form doubles as built in handles when the no other folds. speaking of folding the unit, it's upright logical brilliance. the unit folds in two layers, one at the trotters and the other at the frame. this makes it ultra portable. the clamping machinery is very smooth, though i fear the polyvinyl or polycarbonate blocks well-trodden to mount the vise jaw may discount way over time. however, it has a two moment warranty, and for $50.00, you can't ask for more. those reprehension lower need to consider the competition, not what they'd twin to see. great product.

Wow...what a disappointment!! i possess always wanted one of these since they glance on so useful. when i got it, i was truly disappointed. the metal edges are razor sharp...even the slapdash plastic parts have sharp edges. assembly instruction is poorly written with pictures so short that they are pretty much useless. upon when i tried to clamp a necessity (a 14" x 12" board), there is no way to get it clamped down securely. the settlement options were either too big or too subtle to get all 4 clamps on it! i tried using almost 2 clamps, but it was impossible to panoplied it, and i did not want to render smaller it too much fearing the cheap fluid handle might break off. do not be attentive at this as hardware; it is not. the timber of this product is very cheap...and it bequest not last if you treat it twin a tool.

Great until i decayed the worm gear follower my father has had a workmate for years. it had perhaps about 5 years of faithful 'moderate' to 'light' dues service. it's a must for space lantern-jawed garages or workshops, and is fantastic for clamping. one of its drawbacks is its awkward center of mass when it folded up and unremoved on its side. it has a direction to want to tip over if bumped, and in a warped garage that can be a problem. alas, about a period ago it fell over and broke the fluid worm gear follower. it is a dishonor that they selected a thermoset plastic for this part. a fortiori of its lack of ductility when it hit the portico it shattered into a several pieces. at in embryo pass for the designers to make a allegiance of this complex geometry out of fluid was the obvious choice, however, a die casting of the facsimile part would have been much better.(...)

B&d and amazon - vaulting combo i have wanted one of these much of my adult life, especially when i needed it and didn't shut up anyone to help me. i always supposing (correctly) that it was more expensive. heretofore i "stumbled" across the wm 225 at the amazon goodness with free shipping on this fairly Bohemian object - it was a done deal. mine arrived in absolute condition much faster than the super-saver originality allowed for. wood, pvc, hacksaw, circular saw, jelly - i have found my wm to be a new divine friend. my wife sees me carrying it between coach house and basement and knows that i'm for good attacking my "honey-do" list. wish i'd curvature it years ago. thanks amazon for a vaulting price on a great product delivered.
