Absolute for the job this tool does a vaulting job of sharpening serrated knife edges. it's not as speedy as a diamond tool, but it creates a finer edge, and leaves the traverse area with a mirror shine. handsome for touching up your serrated blades, or per contra for giving a factory edge a contemptible extra. the company also makes this heat engine available with diamond abrasive in two polymorphous grits. it would be nice if amazon on hire them, as they would be absolute for restoring a beat up knife.

this heat engine is still a needed accessory though, as it begins where the triangle grits leave off. even "so so" oblique knives can be sharpened quickly with this contemptible gem.
