In september of 2005. so far approach perfect. but what is? it seems that dewalt has made some improvements at home to this gun. i use it on a well regulated basis and feel i have got my dollars worth. it feels whole-souled in the hand and i have never had a jam. the only negative was heretofore i used ring shank nails. i did possess to fiddle with the dept adjustment a few times introductory to getting it right. no leaks at all. heck and i was in the state to rip into something today. this is a no other good gun for the price range. it's handsome that bostitch is now offering a 7 moment limited warranty on there nailers but i can't see paying double when this dewalt gets the job done. i may clear-cut make a special request at the dewalt web place to see what if any changes they shut up made since these other older reviews. in my eventuality dewalt customer service will get back to you at home 24 hours unless you email early and upon you may just get a reply the no other day depending on the matter. my distinction is scott and i am a heat engine addict. thanks for letting me share.

Good, but not a hitachi i possess used this gun for almost two years. has worked whole-souled for me so far. it nails off subtraction panel as fast as i can go, and has whole-souled grips on the nose for toe nailing. the almost draw back i have experienced is that it jambs upwards of frequently than the older hitachis (i possess not used one of the newer ones yet). for the Potosi this is a good nail gun, but when i replace it i will buy a hitachi.

Don't buy this gun.... day 1...gun misfires and several times jams. later in day gun fails to energy at all. day 2 return gun on day 1. new gun fires but jambs frequently. unjamming of gun irritating and not tool free. until dewalt gets its act together, vantage ground a tried and true hitachi which is what i did on day 3.

Enjoying but not durable i bought this pattern when it first came out. it worked almost good for about 2 years. it was ergonomic and comfortable, but the knocker started leaking and i could not find any one local to repair it. i sent it to the dewalt prune center and it cost $135.00 to repair. i think i will go back to hitachi bond gun or maybe try max nail guns. understand up on this review after still having a moot point with the trigger i took it once more and to my suprise dewalt gave me a reprehend new gun. (dewalt, you're o.k.) they took the old gun back, that i in use almost every day for two years, for evaluation to bring forward their guns in the future. it's been about six mounths and this gun seems to be working well. my only complaint now is that the six divination depth is not a fine enough settlement for the perfect depth; one doesn't set them ecstatic enough, the other is too deep.

Litter i bought two of these nailers, the in embryo one leaked air out of the handle the first time i attached an air hose. i returned it and sinuosity another. it worked great for about a week. upon it started to jam every other bond load. it started to leak air. i finally got so mad i threw it off the shed in to a dumpster. piece of garbage, buy a senco, or hitachi.
