Defeat tape measure i ever owned provided i got a lemon. nearly right out of the box my 30 ft leverlock machinery began to fail. at first, if i set the jute down with the rule extended, the influence of itself would release the leverlock and the jute would retract! soon after the mechanism refused to hold the tape extended at all. i shut up struggled with this tape for a period now and i have cursed it almost all every time i use it. the wire increments have also worn off to the pungency where on the first 6 or 7 automobile i cannot read any fractional markings at all. if i could relax this turkey zero stars i would. mr. stanley, you blew it on this one! i'm looking for a good tape right now.

All others black-letter by comparison as a homebuilder i use a measuring tape on average a hundred times a day or more. ease and ease of operation in a wire measure is critical. . the locking and unlocking of the leverlock confirm is virtually effortless. a gentle squeeze on the bottom of the tape releases the rule and once smoothly locks the tape when pressure is removed. another effortless extort allows the tape to quickly retract. i can first move my tape measure from tool pouch to ply area and back in one fluid and expedient motion. the tape saves a great compact of time with absolutely no time, i declare no time, spent fiddling with the locking device. the leverlock regularity far surpasses any tape rule device i shut up used. the standard locking device on other rules are primitive by comparison. i'd sine die use another type of rule.
