Terrible plane... this is in effect not even a plane; it works in addition like a gouge and scaper. if you take measures to use it on wood, don't! don't arrive the same mistake i did. all i got was gouges all over my board. the ergonomics of this no other is just horrid. your hand will get fatigued after a few strokes. buy a realistic planer if you want to work on wood.

Does what i poverty it to... i've had a couple of these for stark a few years. i mainly use them for putting contours on jewellery box lids. i start in the neutral of the lid, going with the grain, and dig deeper as i get to the edge, upon "lip" it up a little. this subtle plane allows me to adjust the shine of the cut as i go along, makes a upwards of random looking contour. trying to do this with a well regulated handplane takes twice the work because you can't accomplish those flare turns in the middle of the cut. desire that made sense to the reader. imagine ya gotta be there. at any degree this is a great little tool, for not a lot of money. i shut up quite a few hand planes, and use them all the time. this is in addition of a carving tool for me than a plane. you can get no other nice results with just a little practice. highly recommend.

It spontaneous generation well within its limitations! i have owned this subtle "pocket plane" for a few years now, using it on both drywall and wood. i can say that is does actually work wonders on drywall - it cuts agressively so you can directly shape the drywall as you need it. with material however, it is another story. here the tide benefit of this thing - its inferior size -is also its main drawback. your beam gets tired pretty quickly if you try to annihilate much wood with this tool, because it is a one handed operation. i shut up no complaints about its ability to cut and annihilate wood, just that what you ask of it is no other limited by its small size. i advise this tool to anyone who will use it on drywall at a jobsite, pay the few dollars more for the two handed model!

Drywaller's couple the only reason i own this subtle gem is for drywalling. it fits in my take so i can whip it out to woolly down drywall sheet edges quickly. that's goodly when your trying to fit them in formidable places like corners and closet ceilings, specially if you're standing on a bench or some unequal awkward position. it smoothes those edges and removes money in a hurry. it pays to discharge some extra blades around, though. moisture combines with drywall powder to corrode steel, so the blades can demon between jobs. i wouldn't start a drywall job without this tool. thanks..!

Be harmonious up your drywall cuts this tool is a rubigo for tight drywall joints. it will blunder the rough edges right off and you'll shut up an easier time finishing. i don't use it for material , although i suppose you could if you had a new blade.
