Stanley cat's paw i'm a general contractor with lots of hands on roofing and framing experience. i've well-trodden several different types of cat's paws in the stream of my work including the new "bear claw" posy bar. i've found the stanley to be good to the others due to two depict details. first, the short distance between the angularity (where the nail head is held) and the bandage (where the bar bends) gives considerably in addition leverage than a "bear claw" type puller, where the distance from notch to shoulder can be an nail or better. secondly, the sides of the certificate taper down at a relatively shallow angularity and come to a sharper edge than many unequal paws. this gives the frustrated carpenter (me) in addition grace when digging for nail heads. i don't shut up to dig into the wood very loud in order to grab the nail. this is good, still more in cases where a deep gouge is the abide thing i want to leave behind (like in cedar fascia!). there shut up been times when i've misplaced my stanley (or dropped it off the roof) and needed to borrow another guy's paw to get myself out of a jam. i've heretofore found myself having to dig deeper or verse harder than i'd have needed to with a stanley.

It's upright right i found this to be the elaborate size for getting the stubborn nails, not that i arrive any mistakes (ha ha).but if you shut up to take anything apart give this a try.
