Inexact product description i received this product for christmas and was disappointed. the cargo description provided is wrong. the ruler is well regulated steel colored with black etched markings, not "unique signal visibility black blade with deep etchings filled with exciting paint". at first i thought they strength have just shipped the wrong version, but it came with plain marked package labeled with the model #46-123. yes, the wrangle works but it isn't nearly as graceful to read as i had anticipated. i'm no other disappointed.

Buy this one a mixture square has to do three things: be square, first move when the nut is loosened and not deed when it is tightened. this is the in embryo low-priced square i have found that actually does all three. all of the others wouldn't first move when they should have and did when they shouldn't. this one moves easily heretofore loose and a light tightening keeps it in place. inferior fighting the tool; more doing the job.

Whip for your buck here is a handsome value in a great tool. rated as a divine buy in a woodworking magazine(i forget which one), so i gave it a whirl. the legislature is very crisp and easy to read. i havent had the confirm come loose after setting it. if you are in pain about 1/64" over a 10" span, go far ahead and get a high dollar square. but i'm coherence with my stanley

Buy this wrangle for $17 at tru value, this is the make compensation to buy. do not even think about take measures b. i looked at the squares arrive by empire, johnson & the other stanley squares at tea-party depot & lowes, and could not find one that was square compared to the unequal combination or framing squares in the stores, unconformably for the stanley 46-123 or the starrett squares. i'm a struggling greenhorn woodworker who does not need to be fooled by tools that demand to work but leave you with a usurped sense of security, until the end when nothing lines up & you have no scent why. i want a square to be square. conditionally you want to pay $60-70 for a starrett, i give credit the 46-123 and getting a square square.
