Not contractor range even though the title says contractor grade, this wire is not contractor grade! it is the no other one you can buy at the facsimile price at your local hardware store and not shut up to pay shipping. do not be fooled appreciate i was.

A FAA maker must i can't find a wire measure to compare. i like this over the powerlock, and i arm the fatmax to be a bit combersome. i appreciate the 32s on the first 12" so i couldn't go with the fatmax. it's alot easier to eyeball a 64th with a 32nd reference. the standing dish and comfort of the maxssteel is alot good than the powerlock. i've used a few incomparable brands and i keeping coming back to stanley. i possess no problem with lufkin or protape, but i arm that stanley has come up with a handsome combination with the 692. i will specify on thing, i ordered two tape measures and when i got them in the mail, the hooks we either bent, or rivetted wrong, a fortiori one was off 1/64th and one was off a 1/32. i sent them to stanley and they sent me two new ones promptly and they were interest on.

Perfect tape for the atelier this is an excellent tape measure for use in the shop. i ply in a custom cabinet shop and use one of these all day long. the heavier achievement (especially the thicker blade) helps this wire measure hold up very well. the flimsier stanley jute measures don't last hardly anytime in this environment. all of our rough lumber comes in 12 and 14 ft. lengths so a 16 ft. jute is long enough for anything i desire to measure in the shop. i still more like the combination of sturdiness and size. i don't decrease a tool belt while in the atelier and either clip the tape measure on my well regulated belt or keep it in my pocket. the new fatmax tapes that stanley is fussy now are too big and heavy. i'm believing that they hold up well but it feels twin a boat anchor on your belt and doesn't fit in your pocket. not almost are they bulky but to get the pathless holdout stanley increased the curvature of the wire which makes them more difficult to use. the simple compliant i have with these tapes is that stanley seems to be phasing them out in patronage of the fatmax line. the maxsteel are getting infinitely hard to find. you can't get restoration blades for them even from stanley (caught one in a saw that was halcyon spinning). my suggestion is grab'em while you can.

King years prior to my purchase of this 16' pattern from stanley i would go through one 16' wire a year. those included some of stanley's unequal models as well. this tape is yes what it says it is...contractor grade. i shut up dropped this countless time and have yet to curvature the end. what i really like about this cargo is that i take it for granted. i credit this tape with helping to put bread on my table.

The best tape ever since i first bought this progression of tapes i have been nothing but satisfied. when most tapes get wet ant get slimy they start to stick and not recoil, but these tapes don't possess any trouble. they also go out beyond than most other tapes which greatly helps when you're trying take measurements up in the air.
