Nip anything these end vice are excellent. i use my set to clothier copper and steel rivets to size for cartilage and metal work. the 14" handles arrive this task a breeze as opposed to the beam cramping frustration it can be with be sullen quality or shorter nippers.

They're not clear-cut for pulling nails if you're a paper metal worker and install ductwork for a living, this heat engine is a must. it is definitely an newfangled use for these nippers, but boy do they traverse great. slip and drive connections are no question with these wide-jawed, long handled babies. clear-cut spread the jaws wide, slip them over the impel cleats, and use the long handles for all the water wheel you need to pull the joint together. and once you pull the handles together, you can stand by the joint together by holding both handles with one paw while using the other to make the connection. they may be called nippers, but we dictate 'em "duct pullers" because that's just what they do!

Restitution project must ever want to reuse old arboretum work in a restoration project? this tool is a must. it is well constructed from rough steel and it's length allows for handsome leverage. i use this tool to train finish nails out the backside of a peice of salvaged material trim. typically nails can be pulled this way leaving an intact finish side. simply grasp the nail end to the surface of the backside of the build and rotate the tool bringing the point up and out of the wood. it atelier great!
